Nottingham
From lace warehouses to family homes
The Lace Market's old warehouses are now apartments and offices, with big windows that let in plenty of sun. They're great places to live, but they can get warm, and as a conservation area full of listed buildings, the outdoor unit needs careful thought.
Further out, Nottingham is mostly Victorian terraces in Sneinton and Sherwood, student houses in Lenton, and family homes in West Bridgford, Beeston and Mapperley. These are usually simple one-day installs.

FAQs
Air con in Nottingham: your questions
Still unsure? Call us on 0330 043 7869, 7 days a week.
Can I get air con in a Lace Market apartment?
Usually, yes. The area is a conservation area with many listed buildings, so the outdoor unit needs a discreet spot and you may need consent. Check with your building's management first.
How much does air conditioning cost in Nottingham?
From £2,000 fully fitted for a wall mounted system, and from £3,800 for two rooms on one outdoor unit.
Do you install for landlords?
Yes. We fit systems in student lets and rental homes across Nottingham, and can service them every year.
Do I need planning permission?
Most homes don't, if the system heats as well as cools and meets the size and noise rules. Listed buildings and conservation areas like The Park can be different.
Does air con heat too?
Yes. Every system we fit is a heat pump, so it heats in winter and cools in summer.
