Oxford
Historic streets need a careful hand
Large parts of Oxford sit in conservation areas, from the city centre to Jericho and the big Victorian houses of North Oxford, and the city has a huge number of listed buildings. That means where the outdoor unit goes really matters. Usually it's a rear wall or garden, out of sight from the street.
Away from the centre, terraces in Cowley and East Oxford and family homes in Headington and Summertown are often simple to fit. And with so many labs, clinics and offices across the city, we do plenty of commercial work too.

FAQs
Air con in Oxford: your questions
Still unsure? Call us on 0330 043 7869, 7 days a week.
Can I have air conditioning in a conservation area in Oxford?
Often, yes. A unit on a wall facing the road usually needs planning permission in a conservation area, but one at the rear often doesn't. Listed buildings always need consent. We check your address first.
How much does air conditioning cost in Oxford?
Wall mounted systems start from £2,000 fully fitted, and two room systems from £3,800. Larger commercial jobs are priced after a free e-survey.
Do you install in labs and server rooms?
Yes. We fit systems designed to run reliably for equipment rooms, labs and comms rooms.
Do you cover Abingdon and Witney?
Yes. We install across Oxford and the surrounding towns and villages.
Does it heat as well as cool?
Yes. Every system we fit is a heat pump, so it heats in winter and cools in summer.
